Where Do You Start?

A golf simulator is a considered purchase. These guides answer the questions we hear every week — space, height, tech and money — so you can go in with your eyes open.

Does your room actually fit?

The first question we ask anyone — before launch monitors, before budget — is: do you have the right space for it? Get this right and everything else falls into place. Get it wrong and you'll be chipping at a screen two feet in front of your face.

Room sizing overview

  • Room Design & Dimensions — the full picture on height, width and length, with real tolerances from dozens of installs. Aim for 3m H × 5m W × 6m L, and learn the off-centre trick for tighter rooms.

  • How Much Space Does a Golf Simulator Need? — a longer read covering every scenario from garage conversions to garden rooms, with worked examples.

Ceiling height specifically

  • Golf Simulator Ceiling Height Guide — height matters more than width or length. 3m (10ft) is ideal; 2.8m (9ft) is the bare minimum. Find out why, and what to do if you're borderline.

Which launch monitor is right for you?

Once the room is sorted, the launch monitor is the single biggest decision — it reads your swing and ball flight, so accuracy and software really matter. The range runs from the Rapsodo MLM2 Pro for €750 for casual use right up to the TrackMan 4 at €20,600 for serious ball-flight analysis.

The question is usually: how much accuracy do you need, and what software matters to you?

  • TrackMan vs. Foresight GC3 — a head-to-head on the two most popular commercial-grade monitors we sell. Real specs, real trade-offs, and honest advice on which earns its price tag for your situation.

Not sure where to start? That's fine — the consultation is exactly the right place to work through it.

What will it cost?

It's a bit like asking how much is a car — it depends on your space, the tech and the finish. The honest answer is that a solid setup starts around €9,000 with our Sim-in-a-Box bundle, and a fully bespoke build typically sits in the €10,000–€20,000 range.

The most expensive simulator is the one you have to fix or replace — so it's worth understanding where the money goes before you decide.

  • Pricing & Packages — a transparent breakdown of what each component costs and where the bundles hit the sweet spot.

Your €50 consultation fee is fully redeemable against your order — so honest advice on budget effectively costs nothing.

Your next step

The guides above will get you to an informed starting point — but every room is different, and reading can only take you so far. At some point it helps to talk to someone who has installed dozens of these.

  • Get Started — how the process works: share your room dimensions, book a consultation at our Dublin demo centre (€50, redeemable), try the hardware in person, and get a tailored proposal.

We're available Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm at 01 582 6935, or just fill in the short form on the get started page. No hard sell. Just honest advice.
