Screens & Enclosures — A Quick Overview
A practical guide to golf simulator screen types, enclosure options, materials and budget ranges — everything you need to choose the right setup for your space.
Impact screens
The screen takes the ball strike. Materials range from heavy-duty PVC for entry-level builds to multi-layered impact-rated screens for premium installs that hold full driver speeds.
Enclosure types
Soft enclosures (fabric on a frame), hard enclosures (built into the room) and free-standing units. Choice depends on permanence, finish and budget.
Curved vs flat
Curved screens add immersion at a cost. Flat screens are easier to fit, project onto and replace. Most home installs do well on a flat screen with a quality enclosure.
Budget ranges
Entry-level enclosure + screen: €1,500–€3,000. Premium built-in: €5,000–€10,000+. Bespoke joinery on top of that.
